I would appreciate any advice and/or assistance on deciphering this - and if anyone has any
of these people in their line, please let me know!
I found my grandmother in the 1920 Pike County Indiana Census -
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/in/pike/census/1920/248a.gif (line 36)
The census taker listed people wrong. The head of the household is listed as widowed yet
"Gertie" is listed as "wife" - so I *believe* that she is the wife of the third person listed, which
would be the son of the head of the household.
I really need help with these names. I'm not sure I am reading them correctly
Robert (head of household) - age 66 (b. abt. 1854 KY)
Red (nephew) - age 29 (b. abt. 1891 IN)
Atlantes [IS THIS HIS NAME?] (son) - age 30 (b. abt. 1890 IN)
Gertie (wife) - age 27 (b. abt. 1893 IN)
Cloretta (daughter) - age 8 (b. abt. 1912 IN)
Bethana (daughter) - age 7 (b. abt. 1913 IN)
Bonnis [IS THIS HIS NAME?] (son) - age **
Geneva (daughter) - age **
I cannot really read the ages of the last two, it looks as tho they are both under one year -
twins or children born very close together. I'm thinking what I originally took as BONNIS
may be BENNIE.
Anyone have suggestions on the names?
Bethana grew up & married Reno Charles Brewster. She had two sons, Donald Lee
Brewster (b. 1932 Petersburgh, Pike County IN) & Franklin Delano Brewster abt. 1-2
years later. She then died in childbirth with a daughter (?) abt. 1935.
Any help would be appreciated!

>William CHURCH, male, white, widower, age 80 years 1 month 12 days, cause

>parents: Oliver and Margaret Church of Vermont
I just received this from a friend in Huron County Michigan. It proves that
both Lydia Church(nee Rose) and William Church the son of Oliver Church and
Margaret Pangborn died in Michigan. I am hoping that someone finds their
graves and then we will know almost all about William and Lydia and now if
we can only find out some history on William's parents Oliver and Margaret.

Jim Church
