Ok ya'll, it has been awhile since I have seen or heard anything from the Chunn research team.
What have we been doing???
I have a dilemma and would love some help on it. In the 1850 census for Sumter County, Alabama, I have William Chunn age 8 living with Anna G. Coleman age 40. Listed in the household as well are:
James W. Coleman age 19; William R. Coleman age 17; Thomas Coleman age 15; Ann E. Coleman age 13.
William Chunn age 8 is listed last.
I wonder if William could be a child of Berryman Chunn who married Arty Coleman in Lauderdale County, Mississippi April 14, 1844. ??
Does anyone know who Arty's parents were?
Sumter County, Alabama is right across the state line from Lauderdale County, Mississippi.
It would appear that William would be the son of Berryman & Arty Chunn. But what happened to Berryman & Arty that William is living with Arty's mother? in 1850? Also if married in 1844, is the age correct for William? of being age 8? That would make him born in 1842 - 2 years before Berryman & Arty were born.
Any ideas? or any other information?
Thank you in advance!!!!!
