Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
To all list members:
My mother, Dianne, has suffered a series of strokes and will be recovering
for the next few weeks. In the interim, I will take over the administrative
duties for all of her research lists. I know she was planning an open forum from
each group to be set up for a certain time during the week. I don't think I can
adhere to the schedule she has worked up. I do have a breif outline of how
she wanted to set the time up. if anyone is interested in overseeing this
project please let me know, You can email here at SunshineNative(a)aol.com.
In the meantime I will pass your good wishes on to her and keep her informed.
Hope you are all enjoying the Memorial Holiday.

Does anyone have ANY information on William Chunn, Silvester's grandson? or William, Silvester's son?
I am at a loss here for any information. I have found a William Chunn on the 1830 Maury County, Tennessee
Census. It would appear from his age that he would be the son of Silvester. But there is only one child listed between the ages of 15/20. William is between 40/50 yrs and his wife is 30/40.
Thanks so much!!
does anyone know anymore about the following Henrys?? I cannot seem to place them anywhere in the Chunn line but they have to fit somewhere!
HENRY CHUNN
Maryland Early Census Index 1775: Charles County Durham Perish East Hundred Newport
Maryland Early Census Index 1778: Charles County Newport East Hundred Record Type: FIDELITY OATH
Henry signed the Fidelity Oath Feb 1778.
Re Henry Chunn. On LDS files, found the following (in chronological order):
1) Henry Chunn, b. 1735, "Port Tobacco," Charles Co., MD. No other info.
2) On the following, all this happened in Charles Co., MD unless noted:
Henry Chunn, b. abt. 1750, married Mary Ann ??, b. abt. 1754. One child, Charles Chunn, b. abt. 1776, m. 4-28-1801 to Jane Tant Bowen, b. abt. 1778, d. abt. 1840 (will dated 1840). Their children were (a) Henry Chunn, Jr., b. abt. 1808, m. 1-25-1831, St. Marys, MD, to Juliet Johnson; (b) Mark B. Chunn, b. 1811; (c) Jane Chunn, b. 18 ?? - LDS file states 1848, but this is probably a typo - m.? Flowers; and (d) Isabella Chunn, b. 1801, d. 1850 (again will dated 1850), m. Leonard Green Dent (they had six children, all born in Charles Co., MD).
Did find on the 1790 Census for Charles Co., MD is a Mary Ann Chunn (widow of Henry??).
