Hi, my name is Michael Chunn. My father's name was Nathaniel Chunn. He had 23 brothers and sisters in the town of Fargo, Ark. His father's name was Alexander Chunn. Alexander's wife's name was Maude. We have to be relatives. Please contact me @ wermjc(a)swbell.net, we are having a rough time of it researching the African-American trunk of the Chunn Ancestory.
This was posted on the Jackson Co Florida mailing list. I am forwarding the
message in hopes that everyone may find a similar celebration in their
community and attend.
God Bless America and Americans as well.

All I have is Charles b. 1790, d. 1857. It appears that Cecelia was a daughter of Thomas Chunn and Susan Wainwright. Thomas was b. 12/18/1756, Trinity Parish, Charles Co, MD, d. abt 1822?. Possibly buried at Christ Church, Thyatira, Rowan Co., NC. It is said that they - Thomas and Susan - came from St. Mary's Co., MD to Rowan Co, NC with a number of Episcopal families in the 1790s including Barbers, Turners and Rev. Hatch Dent. Also, possible brothers/sisters: Bowlin (?), William, Mary and Robert. I hope this helps.

I just recently just started working on my Griffith line. Charles Griffith and Cecelia Chunn were my 4th great grandparents. I have Cecelia Chunn born 7-28-1795 in Salisbury, NC and dying 9-30-1838 in Rowan Co., NC. She married Charles Griffith 11-3-1817 in Rowan, NC. I would appreciate anything you might have on Charles or Cecelia

Hello Ya'll
I normally do not post virus alerts to the list. This one time I think it is
worth mentioning. We have had a couple of subscribers who have emailed me
with questions and problems concerning the latest barage of Viral
Infestation!
Hopefully your mother warned you to PRACTICE SAFE COMPUTING!
You should have an anti-viral program on your computer. You should check for
updates at least once a week. That is just plain good prevention tactics. If
you do not know what I am talking about or how to go about updating, email me
off list and I will help you. A computing guru I am not, but I do use Family
Planning, we don't want to give rise to the exploding population of virus's.
Recently there have been more and more dastardly viruses that will read your
address book, and send mimed email to the folks on your list. The subject
fields are randomly chosen, and very misleading. The results can be devasting
to your system. Check your emails. Before you download RUN a virus check on
the file. I recommend that you leave an antiviral running in the background
at all times.
Emails that are 3rd party (filtered through another server) such as list
email from Rootsweb, are not usually carriers. It will be personal email to
you from folks you know. Those in your address book.
Check ALL of your email. Happy Computing and .......
