Dear All
I am new to this list and relativly new to Genealogy.
My interest in the CHUNN or SHUNN name is through my Paternal Grandmother.
Stephen SHUNN was born in Chisledon Wiltshire (nr Marlborough) in 1834.
He was the son of George SHUNN and Elizabeth WATTS who married at Avebury
Wiltshire in 1832.
Stephen married Christian Ellen INGLIS in London and their daughter
Christine Helen SHUNN was my Great grandmother.
A cousin of my Great Aunt has aquired a family tree streching back to a
Robert CHUNN 1584 in St Margarets, Wiltshire.
As I have been unable to make direct contact with this lady i only have a
photocopy of part of the tree sent by my Father's cousin by snail mail.
I am of course extremely keen to contact anyone related to this family and
would especially love to conntact the person that did the original research.
I am happy to share what I have of course, but being in Australia it is hard
for me to follow up this information.
I understand that Stephen was a tall gentle man, and at times was a Butler
(who to??) as well at owning a Victulers in Fulhan London.
I can't wait to here from anyone with interests in this name from the
Wiltshire Berkshire area of the UK.
Regards from Melbourne Australia.
Christine Stone

Calvin,
One idea for locating him would be to contact the AMA... if he was a medical
doctor, if not- check the societies that are connected with his profession.
