(1665-1685) lists FRANCIS CHOMLEY Age 16 (bn. c1653) as the Servant of
HENRY ADAMS in 1669. (NOTE - Blv. this is the same Francis CHOMLEY
that later went to HENRICO CO., VA.)
(NOTE - In 1666 HENRY ADAMS had recorded his "Cattle Mark”, p85)
SOURCE - Henrico Co., Deed Book 1677-1705 indicates that FRANCIS
"CHOLMLY" was bn. before 9 Apr. 1704 (See Wm. Edwards, p407) as he was
referred to as "A Planter" & does not appear any place in the
foregoing Deed Bk.
(Note - Must have been at least 30-40 in 1704, therefore bn.

the SAME area while in Henrico & Amelia, Co. Va. .therefore blv.

FRANCIS was bn. within 5 - 10 yrs. of the 1695 date, as both were in
HENRICO CO., & may be a brother to Wm. CHUMNEY bn. abt. 1699, as both
were in HENRICO CO., Wm. was listed on the 10 Aug. 1759 "tithing List
in CUMBERLAND Co., as Wm. CHUMNEY Senr, with 2 tithables, along with
separate hshhlds. for WM. CHUMNEY Junr. & JOHN CHUMNEY. All were
living nearby.)
