Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Harold Chumley of Balch Springs, Texas passed away March 9, 2009 in a Dallas hospital. He was born in
Detroit, TX to Fred and Emily Chumley.

EDWARD CHUMBLEY IS AVIATION METALSMITH
U.S. Naval Air Station, Miami ,Fla. - Edward E. Chumley, son of W. R.
Chumley, of Columbia, Tennessee has been advanced to the rate of aviation
metalsmith third class at this station after passing a rigid examination , it
was learned today.
Chumbley entered the Navy in September, 1942 and attended the Naval trade
school at Memphis, Tennessee. He is now stationed to a torpedo bombing training
unit at NAS, Miami, where he reported for duty on December 25, 1943
