Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

The 1900 Polk Co. MO Census is on line at
www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/mo/polk/census/1900
There isn't an index (!), but I managed to locate the Jackson Township with a
good number of Chumbleys, Goodmans and Lyngars to fill in some of our blanks.
All are district #125 with page and dwelling/family # for each entry below
in case you want to go to the site and look for yourself. I have spelled
names as I saw them, given an identification and for each name you will see

Hi, All!
I hope you are all doing well! I have decided that I need to pass
along the list administration of my lists to someone else. With my
schedule it is becoming harder and harder to keep up with everything. I
have done very little research for the past year and a half and it does
not look like my schedule is going to ease up in the foreseeable future.
I will still subscribe to the list, but need to pass the responsibility
along to someone else. I am hoping that whoever the new list
administrator is that they will get the list active again. We have 75
subscribers in List mode and 17 in Digest mode! I believe that the
Chumley list should be run by the same person as the Chumbley list so if
you are willing to take over both please let me know!! It is not that
much work to actually run the list I just feel that it should be run by
someone who has the time to post messages and keep it active.
Cyndi
Chumbley List Administrator
