I saw a reference to a business named Polley & Chubb in Oswego around 1830 /-. I cannot find where I saw the reference, possibly in an old newspaper. I am interested because my 3ggrandfather, Henry S. Polley, was living in Oswego at that time period. He is in the 1830 census for the village of Oswego.
I know there were Chubbs in Oswego then. Does anyone know of this business?
Barbara
