Message Board Post:
I descend from John and Sarah Chubb, through their son Henry and his wife Ann Chubb. I'm looking for data, from the 1831 census, if available, and other sources of the same period. Henry is born in Dorset County in 1808. He is in Beaminster most of his life. John is in Symondsbury in 1796. If you descend from this line or have information on it, I would appreciate hearing from you. willbacon(a)charter.net
I am looking for any additional information on anyone on this line. Thanks.
Dan Geyer

Notes for James Milton Chubb:
In the 1910 Halifax census are James and his wife Jennie, showing that they
have been married 15 years (married 1895?) and that they have have 4
children - all living. Jennie says that it is her first marriage and James
says that it is his 2nd marriage.
So, it seems that James was 1 of 8 children and that only the 3 sons lived
until at least 1900. His parents were both born in Pa (father Henry about
1816 and mother Mary in 1820. Mother Mary's parents were also both born in
Pa.
