My great grandfather,Thomas Chubb, was born in Isle of Jersey 1820. His wife was Sarah Elizabeth Quantz. He is buried in Stiles Cemetary in Lapeer County Michigan. He does not have a tombstone and the cemetary does not have any records on him. All I know is that he is buried there. His wife and children were born in Ontario Canada. I would be eternally indebted to anyone who can help me.

My GGFather and GGMother Frederick John Chubb and Emily Poole Chubb emgigrated to America in 1868. They were from the Corton and Upton towns of Wiltshire, England. Have not had any luck in determining vessel that they transited on from England. Would appreciate any assistance in determining this. They at one time, lived in the Litchfield, Hillsdale Co. Michigan area. By the year 1872, they were residing in Guelph, Ontario, Canada area. There was a total of nine children of wish only three survived. The only surviving son, my grandfather, Frederick John William Chubb, born 1879 in Sault Ste marie, Ontario, became a US Citizen in 1900. He later became a Baptist Minister serving throughout the western and central New York State area up to the time of his death (1933) in Gorham, New York State.
