Boni,
My Chubb family came from England, Canada and then to US.
Rev. Fred Chubb was the minister of the Baptist Church in Friendship. He was a 2nd cousin. I have most of the information about the family. If I need more I will contact you. Your Chubb family does not sould like a connection to mine.

I found Charles M. Chubb born May 1849 in the 1900 CA Census for Vacaville, Solano County ( ED 148 Sheet 11- 46 A). He is listed as age 51 with his wife, Mary W. born Feb. 1851. age 49. both are listed as being born in England. They have a daughter, Mary W. who is married to Ralph E. LANCASTER. Ralph and Mary are living with her parents. On the same page is Gertrude L. PINKHAM and her husband Frank is listed on page 45B. If anyone is researching these families, I would love to make contact to expand on my information and to share what I have.
