John Do you know about the descendants of Adam Crysler and Elizabeth Warner meeting recently at Fieldcote Museum in Anacaster Ontario? and that there is an exhibit there on the Bloody Assizes of 1814 that led to our forbear being executed? So far, six of nine of the children of Adam Crysler have connected through descendants, myself included ( Roger born 1805 was my great great grandfather). If you want more information feel free to contact me at cjrogers100(a)hotmail.com. I think we are third cousins. Carol Rogers Gananoque Ontario

I'm looking to fill some gaps concerning Ida M. Chrsyler, daughter of John Chrysler and Helen Forsyth. I've located Ida married to Simon/Samuel Kautenberger in Kane, Illinois circa 1880. I'm attaching a Chicago Tribune newspaper article detailing a nasty custody dispute between Ida and Simon concerning daughter Maude M. in Nov. 1883. At this point Ida's last name is Towey. I can't find any additional records for her with this last name. I'm confused by a marriage record that seems to be for Ida marrying a Clifford Forry in Wisconsin also in 1883. I pick up records for her after marriage to a Harry Armstrong in 1907. I'm looking for additional information circa 1900 and any explanation for the multiple names around 1883(Towey, Forry).
