Hi Bonnie....from my research and Bill Smith's (cousins) we have found that Rebeccah Chrysdale married Jacob Acker. Other sisters were Elsie C. who married Sherrard; Nancy C. who married J. Barnum; Isabel C. who married Ostrum and son Joshua who married an Overocker and one older son who died by drowning (name not known). Catherine C. definitely married Josiah White from Methodist travelling vicar who married them Jan/1812/13 and in her own published words much later in her life claimed that she married Josiah White etc. Also, her 2nd heir land claims (her father John C. being a Loyalist) was granted lands - this is how I traced her siblings married names as well. My email is jemcrerar(a)aol.com and I would like to exchange info if you'd like?? Good to meet you...Jackie.

Catherine Chrysdale's maiden name was actually Acker. My sister found info on the Church of England Register for St. Peter's Anglican Church in Cobourg that she married Josiah White in Sidney Township on January 12th 1812 . She and Josiah are buried in Cobourg in St. Peter's Cemetery. Parents were Jacob Acker and Rebekah Chrysdale.
