Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

MANSFIELD: Gary Chronister, age 66, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital losing a 2œ year battle with leukemia.
He was born September 4, 1946 in Galion, Ohio, returning to Mansfield, Ohio after a number of years in Kansas City and Las Vegas.
Gary retired from Sprint, formerly United Telephone.
He enjoyed tinkering around the house, going to garage sales, playing poker, reading, traveling and following the stock market.
He is survived by three sons and their spouses, Michael and Jennifer Chronister of Rocky River, Ohio, Marc Chronister of Las Vegas, NV and Matthew and Karen Chronister of Australia; five grandchildren, Madeline and Olivia Chronister and Claire Pereira deSouza of Rocky River and Samuel and Riley Chronister of Australia; mother, Naomi Nelson Ransom of Mansfield; siblings and their spouses, Keith and Jane Ransom of Mansfield, David and Teresa Ransom of Raymore, MO, Paula Sue and George Hess of Mansfield and Rick Ransom of Lexington, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by twin infant sons; his father, Paul Ransom; and brother, Michael Chronister.
Friends and family may visit from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio.
A funeral service conducted by Pastor Michael Workman will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be at a late date in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or a charity of the donor's choice
