Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello, Jennifer. Glad to have you as a member of the Chronister Research
Group. Any post you make to the Chronister message board will automatically
be posted to the mail list at Rootsweb.

Oops - I intended to send that last message to go just to Peggy Reeves (and
then to repeat the information in a separate message to the listserv), but
hopefully the one message will take care of both! :)

Peggy,
Thanks very much for writing. I haven't gotten back before now because I've
been busy with a long-distance move, but things have settled down pretty
much at this point. As for my Chronisters, my mother's maiden name was
Patricia Chronister, and her father was Robert Chronister (born in 1908 in
York Co., PA), who was the son of Ervin Chronister (born in York Co, PA in
1882). The farthest I've been able to trace back with definite accuracy is
Ervin's father, Moses Chronister, born in (Adams Co.?) PA in 1848.
Do any of those Chronisters sound familiar to you?
Again, thanks very much, and I'll post this info to the listserv, as well.
