Dear Ms. Reeves,
This is indeed who I am looking for. I assumed for years that she was in Bermudian, but have not had the resources at hand to pursue. I have assumed her maiden name was Chronister because that is the middle name of my gg-grandfather Aaron C. Lease, who was their first male child. I have suspected that Ammon was killed during the Civil War, but that info will come at a later date. It is a bit distressing that he is not buried with her. Oh well, many thanks for the info.
Sincerely,
Bob

There is a grave marker at the Lower Bermudian Cemetery in Adams County, PA, that has two names on it: "Susanna wife of Ammon Lease d. Sep 22, 1870 age 57 years, 7 months; and son John Laban Lease d. July 7, 1925, age 76 years, 10 months, 14 days." Maybe this is the Susannah you're looking for.

Hi Betty,
Can you share with me what you have recently learned on the Earhart's? I would appreciate any help.

Peggy, Sorry, I used "Sistler" as an abbreviation for the many many indexes
to Tennessee, et al records that Byron and Barbara Sistler have transcribed
from the original and published. My specific query was related to two
entries for Adam Cronister in their transcription/extract of the 1820
Lawrence Co., TN census (I mistakenly put "AR" in the subject line.) I
assumed that these were for the same person and thanks to list member, D.
Casteel, who read the original image online, I confirmed that there was only
one Adam Cronister in that census report. Just another reason that we need
to check every bit of secondary information against the original (or as
close as we can get) record.
