My gggrandmother, Polly (Mary) Criswell and her three children, Harrison, Mary and William lived in Warren Co. Bowling Green, from 1842 until their deaths in the early 1900's. All but William are buried in Fairview Cemetery.
My gggrandfather, Thomas, disappeared from family records without a trace. He had a bother, Elijah and their father was also named Elijah. Although the name is most often spelled Criswell, some Fairview Cemetery records also list relatives using the spelling Creswell.
I am searching for Thomas, born before 1820 probably in Pa. His father Elijah was born around 1765 also in Pa.
Polly's maiden name may have been Ewing. She was born in 1814.

I grew up with your great grandmother. I was sorry to hear that she passed away. She lived a very hard long life. Did she tell you anything about her grandparents or anything else that would be helpful in researching the family past? email me at skward1362(a)sbcglobal.net, I have been working on our family tree forever, it seems. I do have some info.
