I am looking for the email address of Sharon Kislingbury. On 9/7/2003 she posted a message saying her gggg grandfather was William H. Christy born in 1782 in North Carolina. William H. married a Frances Unknown born in 1784 in Virginia. This couple had seven children born between 1810 to 1827.
At the time of her posting in 2003 Sharon offered to share information about her William H. Christy with any other Christy researchers who could contact her at kislingbury85539(a)msn.com.
I tried to send Sharon an email earlier today at that address but it was returned with a note saying that Sharon's mailbox was no longer available.
If anyone knows how I can contact Sharon, please post that informatioon on these message boards or you can email me directly at jamerm(a)comcast.net. Thank you!

Hey all.. I was adopted at younger than a year old. My biological
father's name is Guy Christy. He lives in the bay area of California..
probably around San Jose. I was just wondering if anyone knew who this
was, or if I even had the right family.. Thanks
James.
I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the PERRY Family of
Massachusetts. The first is a photograph of Charles A. PERRY which was
taken at the Elmer Chickering Studio in Boston, MA. The photograph appears
to have been taken in the 1880's with Charles likely in his 30's or 40's at
the time. The second is a photograph of Caroline L. CRISTY PERRY, the wife
of Charles A. PERRY, also known as "Aunt Carrie". This photograph was also
taken at the Chickering Studio in Boston. I don't know that the photographs
were taken at the very same time since the imprinting is slightly different,
however, I'd say that the photograph of Caroline was also likely taken in
the 1880's and that she was probably in her 20's or 30's at the time.
I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that these wonderful old
photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley

Hello Raymond:
Thank you for responding so quickly. Now that I have your email address nailed down, I will contact you directly at that address.
I do have several matters I need to discuss with you. It will likely be next week before I can get back to you, but if you have anything you would like to send me about your Rowan and Iredell Christy lines, perhaps I could review those before I contact you.
Thanks again!

During January -- March 2004 there were several postings on this Christy message board about Joseph, dob 1761, a son of Andrew Christy, Sr. One of the posters was a Raymond Christy who, previous to August 9, 2003, was living in Missouri where he used an email address of rac111(a)aol.com.
On or about August 9, 2003, Raymond was living in Flagstaff, AZ, and on that date changed his email address to racgrc(a)mchsi.com. He posted a notice on these boards about this change.
I have tried to contact Raymond at both email addresses, but my emails have been returned saying the email addresses are no longer available, no one by the name of Raymond Christy can be found at the addresses, etc.
If any of you know how I can contact Raymond will you please let me know. He and I are involved in similar Christy fmily history research and I need to find him ASAP. You could either post the information on this message board or email me direct at jamerm(a)comcast.net. Thank you for your help!

Here's a Christy quiz for the week beginning March 5, 2006:
In the 1790 US Federal Census for Iredell, North Carolina, there are three Christy households identified. They are:
1. Andrew Christy whose household consisted of one white male of 16 years and upwards including the Head of the Household, three free white males under 16 years, and three free white females including heads of families.
2. Joseph Christy whose household consisted of one white male 16 years and upwards, one white male under 16, and 3 white females including heads of families.
3. Widow Christy whose household consisted of one male over 16, no males under 16, and one female including heads of household.
Now the fun starts! Who can identify the first and last names and the dates and places of birth for all the males and females who only have numbers to show which age grouping they were in?
Your answer must tell us how you came to your conclusion with respect to each name.
This contest will end at midnight MST on Saturday, March 11, 2006.
The person to post the first correct answers for all of the names will be treated to a steak dinner for 2 at any restaurant of your choosing the next time you are in Salt Lake City, Utah!
In order to claim your free steak dinners, you must have all your Christy research data with you! :-)
