I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Martha Merry Christy and Col. Christy, and daughter Beulah”, which I would like to get back to family members. This was taken by the Omaha Photo Co., identified as “Traveling Artists”, and it looks as if it was taken about 1892 or 1893. Col. Christy looks about mid-50s, Martha looks about 35 and Beulah looks about 6 or 7.
In the 1900 census for Ingraham (Mills Co.) IA, I found Joseph Christy with birthdate Mar 1840; Martha C. Christy, born Nov 1856, and daughter “Bulah” born Mar 1887.
Email me at margerice(a)prodigy.net if you are related to the Christy family.
