I'm looking for information on William M. Christy, born 1848, who married Emma G. Hallett in 1868. They had three children...Andrew, Carrie and William B. I'm trying to connect them to my Grandfather, William Benjamin Christie born on Long Island. I have no information on my Grandfather except that he is buried in Hempstead, Long Island. I don't think that William B. Christy is him, because the years just don't jive. If anyone knows anything about these people I would be very happy to hear from you.
working on my HENSLEY line I have came across a brick wall.
I have the daughter of Elisabeth Mae CHRISTY b.1839 in Ark. the daughter of John CHRISTY and Elisabeth from North Carolina. From this point on back this line comes to a complete stop. I have been unable to locate her grandparents and such, I do have that she was m. to Porter M. HENSLEY in 1862 in Wayne Co., Tenn. I have no death on Elisabeth only that Porter had another wife in 1874 a Sarah Helen Snow who tragically took her own life.
Hoping that someone out there might know of these lines and will be able to help me uncover of my 3rd great grandmother Elisabeth Christy.
Thanks
kim

Christy-Eckerly Family Tree
Early in 1900 there were three brother-sister marriages between the Christy and Eckerly families in Chicago,IL. We have had good success to date in building the Eckerly tree, but need help on the Christy family ancestry.
Specifically we are trying to locate information about the parents of Joe Christy ,Emma Christy, and Sophia Christy. Because the Eckerly family lived on or near Lawndale Ave in Chicago, we suspect that the Christy's lived nearby.
If you can help us identify the Christy parents (and other ancestors or other descendants), we will greatly appreciate your help. To see our (still incomplete) Family Tree www.go.to/weichinger
