Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

was m to Porter M. Hensley in 1862 in Wayne Co., Tenn.Are there any other
Christy's from this line out there?...help

I have a question for those of you who have the book mentioned below.
How come Christie is a sept of Farquharson ?
I have read somewhere that the explanation can be found in the book "Clans
septs and regiments of the scottish highlands", SBN 7179-4500-6. However, I
do not have this book and wonder if someone would be so kind to give me a
summary of the links between Christie and Farquharson.
