I heard recently from somewhere, but never before that not only was William of Charlotte married to a Haley, but that another Christopher had also married in to the Haley line, has any ever heard of that? Is it true, is there any data out there that I can find or see about it if it does exist?
David
I called my post miscellaneous records. I am not researching any particular Robert. Please disregard what you don't like.

I think this is a different Robert Christopher than the one born in 1727 who I think is a son of Nicholas and Ann Christopher.
""13 May 1782 GTR: Robert Christopher of Meck GTE: James Barnes & Ann Barnes his wife of same Consid: agrees to give Acres: 39 in same co.on branches of the BlueStone Creek (shows measurements) Sig: Robert (R) Christopher Wit: Abram Crowder; William (*) Crowder; William (+) Hudson Ack: 13 May 1782 by Robert Christopher""
This is probably the Robert I am researching, but why is he mixed up with the Northumberland County Robert? Or am I reading it wrong?

Thanks Linda, as always, great job, you find stuff that alludes us all, looks like Robert may have gone to Guliford County, NC, guess he sold his land in Lunenburg and moved south with other Christopher's?
That part with William Henry makes me start thinking Robert Christopher has Northumberland connections, I need to re-read it all.
Thanks,

DAVID, I RESEARCHED THIS WILLIAM LOT THINKING HE WA A BROTHER OF MY BEN
AJMIN FRANKLIN THAT LIVED WITH/ OR NEXT TO HIM IN MISSOURI BEFORE THEY LEFT
AND CAME. WEST OVER THE OREGON TRAIL IN 1852(I THINK) I EVEN CHECKED
THINGS OUT IN SPRINGFIELD, MO. , HE WAS ESTABLISHED FARMER WITH PROPERTY.
TILL AFTER THE CIVIL WAR WHEN HE WENT SOUTH TO NACAGOACHES TX, MARRIED
AGAIN HE WAS IN HIS 60'S, AND HAD ANOTHER CHILD.
I BET THAT IS WHEN HE PICKED UP THE TWO DICKY BOYS, AGES 10 & 12
I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MANY CHRISTOPHERS WERE IN THAT AREA OF TEXAS. I WAS
IN AUSTIN AND TRIED TO FIND SOME DEATH RECORDS IN THE CAPITAL, BUT THE BOOK
I NEEDED WAS GONE FOR SOME REASON.
LATER I REALIZED HE (WILLIAM) MUST HAVE BEEN AN UNCLE. MY FAMILY CAME
INTO MISSOURI FROM TENNESSE, TO MISSOURI FOR A WHILE, THEN ON TO OREGON AND
DOWN TO CALIFORNIA AND BECAME FRUIT FARMERS NEAR VAACAVILLE, CA.
CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT WITH YOU DAVID. CHEERS SHARON
