I have at least a couple of die hard researchers trying to uncover as must data as they can locate concerning the Christopher's that were in and around Abbeville, SC from the late 1700's through the early-mid 1800's.
David M. Christopher and Bette Pena are working together to try and get some answers to questions we were never able to solve. If any of you have any pointers, data, or good info on these early Christopher's in Abbeville, drop a line, lets hear from ya.
I believe there are a couple of other cross over surnames, that are also linked in this search. David has done YDNA 27 marker and name a few discoveries. I have agreed in principal to do likewise and get the YDNA test done, right now I understand they are have a special reduced price, and yet I can't say for sure when I will be able to get my test ordered, but as soon as I can. I hope some of you others may be, or get some interest to follow suit.
David Christopher
Your old friend, sometimes researcher....
PS; I could have put contact info on David and Bette, but I suspect they will chime in if they read this, besides they should be already know by many of you(I think)?
