I haven't been on here in a long time just saw this. You have probably uncovered all by now lol. However, the man you speak of is my Dad's Uncle Tom. Lewis Benjamin Christopher born 1857 and died 1947. Your grandfather died before him. My father remembers him actually. He was little but remembers him. Lewis and your Grandfather are all buried at Liberty Hill in Flat Rock.

I just saw this. He died in 1947. The date I can't remember and I don't believe is on his grave. He is buried at Liberty Hill. I know this because 1) I have seen the grave and 2) He was my Daddy's grandfather and he remembers him and when he died when he was 16 My father is now 83 and born in 1931. However, you can go and see his grave Liberty Hill Cemetery Flat Rock, Alabama.
