You know that Catherine married John Christopher and they lived in Yonkers, NY. John is the uncle of Michael, Daniel and William Christopher. I often wondered why the brothers settled in Yonkers. I found the link to John in the County Waterford Library in Dungarvan. Needless to say that this family is large and scattered. There are still Christophes in Yonkers NY. There are also members of this family still In Dungarvan Ie. as well as England. In the US Christophers are in California, Connecticut, Texas, Georgia, Missouri, No. Carolina, Colorado and upper NY State near the Canadian Border. This has all be verified by a DNA study.
The closest relationship in the study is Gary from Georgia, Mary T. Missouri, Muiris Dungarvan, Michael (my husband) No. Carolina, John California. all within 1 point, meaning a generation apart or 1st cousins once removed.. The further away is Anthony in England. He is about 4 points away meaning the relationship is over a hundred years of cousins. DNA is an education in itself took me months to figure it out. All was done thru NatGeo. not Ancestry.
I believe that there is a link or connection to the Canadian Christophers but have been unable to get anyone to take the DNA test. A women from the Canadian part of the "clan" married and then came down to the US and settled in Yonkers. So I have been trying to link the two Christopher families together for abt 7 yrs.
I have a picture of Nellie's grave site. She is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Nepperhan Ave. Yonkers, Westchester County NY.
The name Patrick comes down in the family since the late 1700s. There are also Patricias. Other family names that have followed down are John, William, Daniel, David and Michael. One in each generation. My youngest grandson in Liam (gaelic for William) so another generation in growing now.
Keep in touch, ask me questions as I have a very large Christopher heritage put together.
Judy Christopher

Judy, I know its been awhile, but that would be Catherine Cunningham Christopher. She would be the mother of Patrick F. Christopher and Nellie Holden. Patrick was my grandfather and Nellie {Helen} would have been my great Aunt.
