My Christopher line (WM. Washington Christopher)
Wm. W Christopher born circa 1822 (Varies on census)
Married Elizabeth Marselas Old St Paul's Episcopal Church Baltimore in 1848. They had 2 children that survived infancy-Wm. and Mary) Elizabeth died around 1856. Wm then married Matilda Law - After she died, he married Sarah Robinson.
William jr born circa 1856, married Laura Mullen - They had a Wm III.
Connected family names are Marselas (originally french Huguenots) Alfred and Martha (Lee) Mullen, Then the Joslin family.
I am lookingfor connections- Many of the Marselas family- lived in MD until 1850's when several moved to VA-
I believe the Marselas family was from France via Canada.
My father said we (the Christophers) were connected to James and Sarah Christopher in Hartford Co (buried in the Christopher burial ground)
I believe Thomas Christopher born about 1790 is William W Christopher's father-
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
