I traced William Christopher back to District 3 Caroline-I think somewhere before 1840 they left the eastern shore for Baltimore. The last two Christophers I have are Matilda and William (a name that seems to run in this family!!) Any ideas for additional research? Any connections? any ideas?Thanks all!

I forgot to mention: The Harford and Baltimore County lines changed several times, with Baltimore assuming more and more of Harford as the years went by. So, if you can't find something in Harford's records, try Baltimore's. Both historical societies are VERY helpful!

We may have a connection, as I've been looking for "Marcel", but it may be Marcelus, as you've mentioned.
I know for sure that my Laura is buried at St. Stephen Cathoic Church in Bradshaw, but that doesn't mean that one of her siblings didn't marry a Laura. It's not an uncommon name!
The family plot you mentioned is actually still standing; it is in the back yard of a private home. It is slightly over grown, but fenced in and periodically maintained by the family that owns the property now. I haven't gotten the nerve to talk to them, but I've walked by a few times. :o)

I have a gggrandmother named Laura (mullen) Christopher-married to Wm. Christopher-These people are buried in Louden Park cemetery. this Laura's dates are 1855-1915 Balto-
Her parents were Alfred Mullen born abt 1825 and Martha (Lee) Mullen born abt 1833
There was/is a Christopher burial ground- (which may now be a park) near Royston and Eunice ave There were two stones there that had the names James Christopher 1817-1899 and Sarah Christopher 1819-1864
My family are decendents of Wm Christopoher- Related names by marriage that I know so far are Mullen, Marcelas (spelling varies) and Joslin/joslyn
