I have no one with that name in my line. Our Christopher Family immigrated in the 1890s and settled in Yonkers New York. Family names inclued Michael, William, John, Daniel, Patrick, Johanna, Mary, Ellen and Catherine.
I am sorry I cannot help you. You may want to search familysearch.org. There are many Christophers listed there from County Waterford Ireland

Hi, I was wondering if you might have any Christophers from NC and or GA. My ggggrandfather was Seaborn C or J Christopher b. 1795 in Ireland. He came to the USA as a stowaway when he was 16. That was in 1881. His son was John Christpher b. 1861. They lived in Talbot Co. GA. I am trying to find Seaborn's father, mother and other relatives in Ireland or the US. Have any clues? Thank you, Sue johnsonms215(a)aol.com

I for one owe a lot of my motivation to you David. It's not easy researching African American Christopher's but you used to keep me encouraged. For that I will be externally grateful.
My individual family file list hit over 1500 members last year. My next project is to get our website back up.

I appreciate the kind words from Gerald, but he, like so many of you are what made this possible, all I ever did was try and provide a sounding board for all you who took the time, went places, got documents, and proved many of the questions we were all asking. There's too many of you to name, Linda, Jimmy, Gerald, Leila, Beth, Sharon, Tisha, Francis, and countless others, not to mention the ones who came before us. I know some of our researchers have left us and gone to a better place, my only regret is not being able to get them answers they wanted before before they left, kinda leaves an empty spot, people I used to call and talk about family members and memories, miss that. Jimmy,
The only time time you get too old for this is when instead of being the researcher, you are the researched, as long as we live and breath, I think we continue to keep an eye on this research stuff that we all spent so many years working on together. But it is what it is, and
it's why we search so, not only get answers for selves, but for generations to come.
It is good to see all of you still out there, Linda, always good to see ya, Elaine, good to see you keeping the faith, Roger, Sharon, Tisha, good to know you are still out there with all the curves that we get in day to day life.
I know I didn't mention many of our researcher friends from over the years, but there are too many, and I am pulling from my short memory, Buddy, Beth, Daphine, David Little, Wonder-mom, Missouri Mule, Roger, Pete, Lois Davis, Brenda Andrews, all Christopher researchers, and many more....
Happy Holiday's All,
David

Hello...
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the Christopher researchers out there, especially David who has been a lot of help over the years. I'm still here and doing a little research but have not found anything new regarding parents of John Davis Christopher b. 1814 S.C.

Hello all....
It's good to see you all are still looking, trying to piece the puzzle together. Me, well I guess you can say I have been swallowed up by everyday life, kinda lost interest in researching as some may have noticed. Anyway, I was fixing some of my messages and noticed familiar names, thought to say hello, and wish all a good holiday season. Merry Christmas all and Happy New Year, to all who read this, not just Sharon, and Roger :)

Thanks David for your message and good wishes for the holidays. I too wish you and your family and all Christopher's a happy holiday. I, like you have been taken over with life and have not done any research lately. I do want to get back to seeking out my roots and hope the new year will bring me lots of time to get it done. Take care and I send my best to all....Elaine Christopher Berry

Hi Carolyn,
My name is Roger Christopher. My lineage of Christopher’s came from Germany by way of Holland. They settled in North Carolina and South Carolina. I was born in South Carolina. We relocated to West Texas when I was 10 years old (now 67). I have visited all of my grand parent’s grave sites in N and S Carolina. My ggg-grandfather was Peter Christopher buried in Canton, NC, gg-grandfather was Daniel C. buried in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery near Conover, NC, my g-grandfather was Emmanuel C. buried in Fort Lawn, SC near my grandfather David Henry C. My father was Calvin B. Christopher buried in Granbury, Texas. We have had many reunions at Myrtle Beach, SC and 2 of my cousins are planning another one soon I hope. It has been several years since we last had a family reunion.
C. Roger C.
