If you are still looking, Morton's parents appear to be William Christopher and Elizabeth Haley. See haleyholler.com for extensive information written by Edward F. Haley.
I believe this William Christopher to be my ggggg-grandfather.
If you have discovered additional information re this William or his parents (Nicholas and Ann), please reply.

The web page is created by the paf program I use to keep the family tree with, and the only way I can update it is to either enter new information in, or import it from a .ged that someone else has made from thier family tree program.
Good hearing from ya Linda, hope all is well.......

John D. Christopher's wife appears to be named Amelia on the 1850 Franklin Co. GA. Census but she is not present on the 1860 Hunt Co. TX. Census and no clues previously existed for her surname. Recently, using Family Search Pilot Search Program a Texas Death Record for Mrs N. A. Dunn on 21 Feb. 1912 in Howard Co. Texas has been found. It identifies her parents as Father: Jno. Christopher / Mother: Siddell . Narcissa Augusta Christopher married John M. Dunn in Hunt Co. TX. in 1871. They can be found on the 1880 census in Commache Co. TX. She can be found on the 1900 Scurry Co. TX. Census and on both the Eastland and Eddy Co. NM. Census reords living with her sons in 1910.
Based on this information, I am listing John D. Christopher's wife as Amelia Siddell.

Thanks David for putting our web page up again.
Is there anyway to audit it and fill in information of those who have been born, died, married, etc?
Hope you have a great day!

I know its been a long time, and I can't say that I have anything new to add, but I have put up a web page again for the decendants of Nicholas Christopher. Maybe in time I will come back to researching, it does pay off, just ask Gerald Rimmer, who after 25 years found information thats been elusive all those years that helps him make a more complete family tree of his research, congrats Gerald!! This Nicholas page I put up is old, but can used for browsing.
Thanks,
David Christopher
