We have Deckers in our family line, and also a Sarah Christopher. Our Christophers were in Colorado at one point. I'm sorry I can't give you dates right now because we have been remodeling and my geneology files are buried. As soon as I can get to them I will check dates, and additional names and get back to you. Sounds like a fun mystery to try to solve. Thanks for your post. Talk to you soon.
Jill
BTW, the Sarah Christopher in our line ended up connecting with the Van Osdel line in California... there may be another person in that board to contact if you're interested.

Lisa,
It looks like if he was in his 20's in the 40's that it probably isn't the same Robert Christopher. I thought maybe my Robert could have been the grandfather, but I guess not. I did find a reference to a Rose Christopher at this link http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/database/d0063/g0000007.htm#I228928, if you want to contact the sender (don't know how you'd do that...). I will keep your info though in case we do find something that matches with your line. Good luck.

I know that when my father was born he lived in New Jersey. His father was in his 20's at that time. I think that his mother's name was Rose but we are not sure my dad kind of remembers her. My dad does not remembers his father's father at all. I hope this all makes sense. My father is 60 now and was born 7-4-1944. They lived in Sufferin, New York. My grandmothers name was Charlotte Terhune and they were only married a couple of years. After that we have no idea were his father went.

Lisa,
Do you know if his father Robert was in California? My grandfather Robert Earl was born in 1911 in California, and married and divorced several times. We are researching to find these wives and would love to know if there are any other children. As far as we know, he had only one child (my father), but we have found out that none of his family knew about my dad, so there is a huge probability that there are others out there.
