Sorry!!!
I just submitted a Poem / Song to the Lovingyou.com
web page (a clean and wholesome site) and thought I
was sending out a message with the valentine verse
attached. However, I see that I must have only been
sending a rabbit card. If you would like to vote for
my Poem / Song entry, Please use the following link to
view it and vote.
Sorry for the confusion.

My great grandfather, William Christopher married Myrtle Lee Albert. They had 1 daughter, Willie Lee Christopher, born in or near Rockingham Co., NC. William had a brother, Ernest. Word is that William was killed about 1908, over a horse, just before my grandmother's birth. I think he was buried between Sandy Ridge, NC and Stuart, VA. Myrtle went on to marry a "McCanless" and had 2 sons, Sidney and a living McCanless. Searching for any info on William or Ernest Christopher's ancestors and life. Also searching for ancestors of Myrtle. I think all were born in or near Rockingham County, NC. Thanks in advance for any help in my searches.

I have a line on a WIlliam Christopher born in About 1790 in Orange County North Carolina. His wife's first name was Nancy. His children and grandchilren migrated to Spartenburg South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. Eventually Jim Willis Christopher ended up in Texas and Indian Territory (Oklahoma). My lineage follows a William Perry and Jim Willis Christopher. Any info would be appreciated.
I am trying to connect George Christopher and his sister Jane
Christopher with William Christopher who appeared on the 1820 Abbeville
SC Census. William Christopher is listed to age-26, wife age to -26, 3
children to age -10 (1 male, 2 females). The children would have been
born between 1810-1819.
George (Ambus) Christopher was born abt 1812. He married Jane Adeline
Mathews in Abbeville, SC on November 18, 1843. His sister Jane
Christopher married Jane Adeline Mathews' brother, Thomas Jefferson
Mathews abt 1844 in Abbeville. She was born abt 1817. The birth years
are right for George and Jane to possibly be the children of this
William. Jane Christopher and Thomas J. Mathews second son was named
William (possibly following the naming pattern of 2nd born named after
mother's father). Jane Mathews and George A. Christopher's 2nd born was
named after her father Joseph (Joseph Calhoun Mathews) and later dau.
named after her mother Margaret (Maggie) (Margaret Brough Mathews),
though Jane and George Christopher have no son named William (known sons
were Joseph Henry and James Dubose).
I was also thinking that this line might be related to the William
Christopher line of Northumberland Co, VA since the names George,
William and Jane are all prevalent in that line.
Can anyone shed any light on my search? Any idea who this young William
Christopher was in the 1820 census (age under 26 yrs) and who his young
wife might have been? Any information on George and Jane Christopher who
married into the Mathews family (I have their down lines)?

Sorry for the lack of information I sent before. This is my first time using this message board.
I am looking for information, ancestors, desendents of Thomas Christopher. All the information I have about him is that he died at sea near Cape Hatteris before 1900, most likely in the 1880's. He was listed in Baltimore in 1874 as a mariner. He is supposedly my great great great grandfather.
