Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Bruce Ken Christopher, 44, of Marietta (GA) died Sunday. The body was
cremated. Memorial service plans will be announced by H.M. Patterson & Son,
Arlington Chapel.

Lt. Col. George A. Christopher, 85, of Hixson, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002,
at a local hospital. He was a native of Avon Park, FL and traveled around the
world as he served our country in the US Air Force. He retired in 1968 from
the Air Force after serving in WWII and Korea. He was a long time resident of
Shady Groves Acres, Scrouge Town, NC before moving to the Hixson area a few
years ago.
He was preceded in death by two wifes: Rita Cuesta Christopher and Margaret
Christopher; one son: Robin Christopher; and his brothers. Survivors include
his son: George Christopher of Tucson, AZ; daugher: Kay Payne of Hixson;
sister: Joyce Staley of Sebring, FL; several grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
No funeral services are planned.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville,
GA.
