By the way, I meant to mention that I am Neil Cary Christopher's great grandaughter. My father is Robert Nelson Christopher who is Ralph's brother Robert Earl Christopher's only child (unless he had a secret...).
Can't wait to talk to you! Can't wait to talk to you. Have been at a dead end for so long and really want to find my dad's relatives. Wish he could have been around to find them too. His dad never talked about his family (except for Ralph a little bit).

Oh my gosh! I can't believe Ralph had a child! I'm so excited! Did you know your grandfather? What happened to Helen Miriam Boynton Christopher? She just disappears off out of all the pictures. Why were Ralph and Robert raised by their grandparents? (so many questions - no one left to answer them...) Please email me directly so I can get you some phone numbers.... khaf(a)gte.net.

This message is to Jill Christopher Hafker. Neil Cary Christopher is my Grandfather. Ralph Leonard Christopher is my father. I believe I have some info, but I need to find my geneology records (I'm in the process of moving) so it may take some time. I sure hope you get this message - I haven't found ANYONE who has any connection with the Christopher's, until I found your message.

published in the "Liberty Tribune" Clay County, Missouri
May 23, 1873
In 1844 in Garrard County, KY were married Kate TILLET and William WARREN. A half sister, Miss Laura TILLET lived with them. Mr. & Mrs. WARREN had one child, a daughter.
In 1849, Mr. WARREN went to California in the Gold Rush. His wife waited 7 years. Rumors reached her he had been killed by Indians. In the meantime, Mr. George C. BRYANT married Miss Laura B. TILLETT who had 2 children and she died. In due time, and about 7 years after the departure of Mr. WARREN, Mr. George C. BRYANT and Mrs. Kate WARREN were married and soon moved to Independence, MO, where Miss Mary WARREN, the daughter was reared and married Mr. W. C. CHRISTOPHER, now of Pleasant Hill.
Mr. & Mrs. BRYANT had been married about 17 years and had two children, when there were rumors that Mr. WARREN was not dead, but living in Trinidad, California, and had inquired about his wife and daughter. The long lost man, now past 60, came to Independence where he was kindly received by the family of Mr. BRYANT. He is in very poor health and has been staying at the home of his daughter where he will probably end his days. He knows of no relatives in Kentucky except an aunt in Louisville and he has gone to visit her. (from "Independence Sentinel")
(I have no connection with this family; but, if you found this to be of value, please let me know.)

I know of one son, Eugene, April 11, 1917-December 26, 1987. If any of this sounds familiar to you, please get in touch ASAP. Thanks!

Christopher
The first CHRISTOPHER to settle in Albert County, NB was Collins Jackson
CHRISTOPHER, born 4 March, 1798 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was
baptized 1 April, 1798 at St. John's Episcopalian Church, Portsmouth.
Collins died probably circa 1840 in Albert County, NB, but no grave marker
has been found.
He married Orinda STEVENS, b.c. 1799, youngest child of Nehemiah and
Rebecca (ANDERSON) STEVENS of Hardwick, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, Horton,
NS and Hopewell, NB. Collins was in Albert County as early as 1820 when his
name appeared on a list of subscribers to build a bridge over the Shepody
River.
He was the son of William CHRISTOPHER and Mercy JACKSON. William
CHRISTOPHER served on the USS Essex in the War of 1812 and was killed in 1814
at the Battle of Valparaiso, Chile. Collins mother, Mercy JACKSON, belonged
to one of the oldest families in Portsmouth. She was three times married,
first to Samuel GREEN, secondly to William CHRISTOPHER, and thirdly to a John
ADAMS.

Hi sorry I don't have any info about Patrick Christopher, but I have a question for you. My wife's grandfather was Francis Christopher, b 1865 to William and Louisa Christopher. He came out to NB Canada about 1900. he came from Barrow- in Furness, England. He was a Baptist. My query is do you think the family might have originated in Ireland.? Might William have come to England and met a " Baptist" ?. I think the name Francis Christopher could be Roman Catholic. Any info would be most appreciated. Bruce Small
