trying to send this again...
by John A. Christopher, Sr.
Hi Linda! Thank you for the info on the Christopher reunion. I just
recently became acquainted with this board (wonderful) and so was unaware a
reunion was in the making. I am gong to have to check with the family
before I can commit to going, but I think it would be great to meet with
cousins from everywhere!
We live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, about two miles from the foothills of
the Sandia Mountain range of the Rocky Mountains. The Rio Grande runs down
through the center of town at the bottom of the alluvial plain created by
the erosion of the granite from the mountains. There are fewer than two
million people in the whole state although our area is among the top five or
six states in square miles. There is a tram that goes from the foot of the
mountain to the crest which is 10,600 feet above sea level. You can see
over a thousand square miles from there. We have four gentle seasons here
and lots of sunshine. Our fruit trees are blooming like crazy as well as
the bulbs people have planted. Spring is my favorite time of the year!
Our snow removal system is primarily the sun.
My line of Christopher's is from the marriage of Garrett Christopher to
Elizabeth Wall in Tennessee in the early 1800's.
I.'m working toward getting information together to send to David in the
very near future.
Again, thank you! John (Jack) Christopher
At which address did you receive this email, we had trouble sending to you at the swbell.net address.
