Greetings Christmas Family,
I have attached the final arrangements for the Family Reunion. Please note
several changes. First, the final fee for the reunion is $40. Therefore,
if you have already sent $20, please send the balance to me by July 4, 2011.
The second change is that the entire reunion will be at the Ambassador Inn.
If the Ambassador Inn becomes full, then I still have rooms at the Jameson
Inn. Both are in Henderson. If you have any questions, please feel free to
contact me.
Regards,
Tanya

I was unable to find the Christmas home in Hillsboro but I did find the
Christmas home in Warrenton. The home is across the street from the
Courthouse in Warrenton. I believe it belonged to Lewis and was built
in ca. 1850.

Hi all,
I plan on visiting North Carolina in July for the Christmas Family Reunion
and, during my visit, I would like to see the home of my
6th-great-grandparents, Capt. John
Christmas<http://christmas.whturner.com/tccg04.htm#3>and Mary Graves
in Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina; information
on the Christmas Families website
<http://christmas.whturner.com/tccn05.htm>indicates that their house
is still standing: "John
acquired ten thousand acres of land in Orange county, moved there in 1777,
and died there six years later, having lived to see five oldest sons serve
as officers during the Revolutionary War. The Christmas house still stands
in Hillsborough but is not occupied by the family lines in 1757 at North
Carolina."
Could someone please provide me with the address of the house? Since so many
of the homes of my ancestors have already been demolished, I would really
like to see the one's still in existence before it is too late.
Your assistance, as always, is very much appreciated. Have a restful and
rejuvenating Memorial Day weekend.
Very Respectfully,
Mr. Shannon S. Christmas
