Herbert,
I use IE 7 had no trouble. However I noticed when I went to click on my
name the e-mail address was weird, along with my address was yours mixed in
somehow.
Note: I am not descended from the great Christmas line but my late husband
and children are.
I know how you feel as I have aged I am no longer as active in genealogy as
I use to be. Another e-mail address that you might use for me is
alabamakinchaser(a)yahoo.com as I check that more often then here since my
server here is more of a pain now to get my mail since they upgraded. I don
t know why they always thing upgrading is new and improved! Mostly makes
things worse...
Have a good day and best of luck with getting the next installment out on
disc. I am afraid everywhere books are a thing of the past.

Hi Pauline & Rick,
I checked the web page using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer,
and did not have a problem connecting. Please type
christmas.whturner.com in your browser's address bar, and if you
still have a problem, write me at wht-abt(a)att.net and let me know
what browser you are using.
Rick, the 2001 CD is not available. We have added many families and
documents since then.

Herbert, do you by chance have a picture of Mary Ann Christmas, daughter of
H. Theophilus Christmus among your photos??? She is my great grandmother
and I surely would like to know what she looked like.

Just let me know.

Subject: [CHRISTMAS] Web Page Update & Christmas Book Update
Yesterday I updated the web page. It includes all
the new family information and photos since the
November, 2008 update, plus death certificate
information, and more census abstracts. Address

As I've gotten older, and our family information
has grown, I'm more prone to making mistakes, so
please check, and I will be happy to correct the errors.
In 1999, with the help of many, I did the last
printed Christmas book update, which was 800
pages, and had gotten too large for me to continue having
it printed. In 2001, again with many helping, I
did a CD which included the book in several
forms, and the web page information. The book and CD were
given to those that helped, and to libraries, and
genealogy groups. The book and CD were given free
of any financial charge. All I asked was you shared
family information with me, and help with editing.
On the CD/DVD, I can add additional photos,
generations, copies of original documents -
census, death certificate, etc., not on the web page.
Over the years, I've been asked many times about
another update, and I said maybe next year. To be
honest, I have been lazy about doing another,
because it takes a lot of work and time. If
enough of you have an interest in helping with
another update, I will be happy to do it, and have the CD/DVD
ready to mail by December 1 of this year. With my
wife's help, I can burn about 50-60 CD/DVDs; if
more than that is needed, I might ask others to help.
To those that want to help, please reply by May
20, by sending an email to the List or wht-abt(a)att.net.
Information only: This past weekend we had our 10,000 visitor to the web
page.
Best regards,
Herbert

In 1999, with the help of many, I did the last
printed Christmas book update, which was 800
pages, and had gotten too large for me to continue having
it printed. In 2001, again with many helping, I
did a CD which included the book in several
forms, and the web page information. The book and CD were
given to those that helped, and to libraries, and
genealogy groups. The book and CD were given free
of any financial charge. All I asked was you shared
