Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi Herbert;
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving - and thanks for responding. Hope it's
not a biggie to change. But guess worth doing so, since more than likely it
would be a bad lead for someone.
Best,
Farley
The planned October web page update was finally completed on November 13. I
thank each of you that has helped by providing family data, photos and
other information, recently and in the past. I'm sure I have made errors,
so if you see them, let me know, and I will be happy to correct. There are
two web sites, with identical information, except one has photos.
The http://christmas.whturner.com/ web site has photos.
The http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~research/index.htm web site does not
have photos, due to space limitations.
The Researchers Page has been updated, but I'm not sure all email addresses
are current. It you have time, please check the page, and if your address
is outdated, please send me a current one, and I will update the page.
Also, if anyone would like to be listed on the Researchers Page, send me
your line - I may have it, and I will be glad to add you.
As you get older, you become more reflective (guess you have more to
reflect on) and it is hard to believe it has been almost 10 years since the
web page was started. In 1996/97, a group of us, Eddie, Cindy, Jeb,
Marlene, Susan, Dot, Tom, and some I have left out, decided to share our
research on Jonathan Christmas, by starting a web page. A little later,
Mary Jean, Donna, Joyce, Mark, Dick, Teresa, Ginger, Gayle, Shirl/Jim and
others added a lot of information on the Thomas Cross Christmas line.
Later, John Young, Marion, Susanne, Larry and others added the Henry
Christmas line. Several other lines have since been added. All of these
lines have continued to grow, and have helped many, many Christmas cousins,
near and far.
Still need more photos.
I hope each of you had a very nice Thanksgiving. Finally, my thoughts and
prayers are with the many men and women in our arm forces, serving to
protect us and our way of life. I sincerely thank them.
Best regards,
Herbert

Hope you all have had, and might even still be having a great Thanksgiving
this week. I apparently made a mistake in this listing - it should read:
Martha Ann Rebecca Summers.
Not Martha Ann Anderson.
I sure am looking forward to all those 'Christmas' clan and cousin whimsical
cards and such this holiday season : )
