Hi Shirl,
I think so much more can be done, so hope all you 'cousins' don't mind my
sending you these links - it's a database where you can put information if you
have spare housing - or ask for it - through WWW.MoveOn.org there is a link to:
WWW.hurricanehousing.org - which is the link from MoveOn. Please pass this
on!
Best,
Farley
Thank You Helen,
Nice to meet you.

When this hit gas was $3.79 a couple of times it was $3.99. I hate to think what it will be in the months to come. We have been told gas will not be as plentiful as before. So many oil rigs, oil refineries, and the shipping in to the gulf coast is none existent at this point. No idea when it will be operational.

So glad you're safe. It sure sounds like a mess down there. Gas is $3.25 up here in the mid Hoosier state and some stations here have also run out of gas. --Donna

People from Mississippi are coming here to get gasoline so I think that is why we ran out so quickly.
A lot of deris around my yard and daughter's but no big trees down this time. A building in Butler lost it upper story but out side of broken windows and awnings that is about it. Some houses with some damage.

Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.

HI Shirley. I really don't remember where you live. Could you plese refresh my memory? How far from New Orleans are you? I certainly am glad you are basically ok. :) So what other family members live in that neighborhood? Do we have any list members living in Louisiana or Mississippi?
Thanks!
