Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I sent a personal message to his home and told him to expect to hear from
you.
Take care, Marion

Dear Listers,
Could any of you please inform me of how to go about approaching the Rootsweb Administrators on recruiting someone in the UK to set up a CHRISTMAS-UK-L site? It must be able to be done because there's a site for my maternal forefathers, namely:---- HARVEY-UK-L. who were from Scotland.
I tried last night but could only get an entry to some message boards. I couldn't host it because I'm in New Zealand.
My immigrant paternal forefather settlers came out from Surrey, England by sailing ship in 1840.
However, I have traced my Christmas Tree back to Robert in Chobham, Surrey, in circa 1640 and I want to go further back probably into Kent where the name occurs right back to 1250 but in different variations.
I look forward to some instruction.
Kind regards,
Ray Christmas, from New Zealand, RESEARCHING CHRISTMAS, CHRISTEMESSE(kent) CRYSMASS(1243 in Kent) and all its other forms ie with all or some of 'H', 'T', missing.
