Richard, have you looked on the Warren Co. Site lately? I have posted the 1811 taxlist and some or your
cousins were in it.

Dear Marion,
I'm sorry that I can't help you on the leases but I'm fascinated with your
branch emanating from England (1493) and then on to Ireland.
I traced mine back as far as Robert of Chobham in Surrey, England in about
1640. I'm desparately trying to get any links via wills, parish records etc
ealier than 1640. I'd be grateful to discover if there is any mutual help
that could pass between us which could see whether or not our two branches
link up at some point. It doesn't really matter if they don't link up and
you may have gone back as far as it is possible to go.
Would you please let me know the details of your Henry 1 , so that I could
have them for my research?
I'm not yet familiar with the numbering system but I understand it comes out
of one of the Family Tree creation systems.
Could you please advise?
Kind regards,
Ray Chistmas in New Zealand.

Hunter, when faced with that dilemma, I took snapshots of the pictures (from
a slight angle to avoid the flash) and then had them for posterity without
having to risk precious photos and without undue worry of the owners of the
photos. Works like a champ. Try it. Joan
Please take your Grandmother to the local Kinkos or Office Depot and let her see
how to make color copies of the photos and make an extra copy for someone she
would love to give it to. This gets her out on a outing and it allows you to
have a copy of the photos. It worked for my Aunt who is 92. She sent the extra
copy to her sister and they now have exchanged photos so that both have the same
photos and I have a color copy of all the photos.

Me
As you see I am a distant Christmas cousin, but I am still interested in the
line. My main research problems right now concern my mother's family, so
I'm not actively working on Christmas at present. But I will get back!
By the way, thanks to Herbert who cleared up some Christmas lineage for me
last year!
John Reynolds
Can anyone help on this family? Thanks.

Theopilus is my Christmas(us) line. And thank you so much for the additional
information on this my gggrandfather. It is my understanding that those who
came from South Carolina preferred this spelling of their name and kept it.
However I have seen it spelled in many sources as "as". Joan
