Thanks Herb for letting me in on whats going on! It takes me so long to find
their connections without a little help. My Christmas tree is growing and my
index will be better when I get it all typed in. I thought I was done but I
keep finding spots that are not filled in. Thanks a bunch for the Web
Addresses. Mary Jean Christmas Wooten
Regarding two recent new members; it was brought to my attention that I
failed to mention our web page address for information on their lines. In
the future, when welcoming new members, I will try to show the web page
address if we have information for their line. If I forget to do so, remind
me or sent the address to the list.
For Glenda, researching Mary Christmas & Philimon Hawkins, the address is:

For Sherry, researching Merry Franklin Christmas, the address is:

Suggestions for improving the "mailing list" or "web page" is always
appreciated; please drop me a note to above email address.

I have a deed for R.L. Christmas where he has interest in his Aunt
Louisa (Christmas) Frye' property in Orange Co. NC written 1924. Does
anyone know who this R.L. Christmas and a sister Anne E. (Christmas)
Atkinson is? I suspect they may be children of John Christmas and
Sallie (Hancock) Christmas but am not sure. I now have over 40 of the
deeds in Orange Co. transcribed, there are still another 15 to be done
and I have run agains only this one who cannot be connected.
There were 2 Francis Christmas' of that time period one the sister of
J.R. Christmas and one that was his daughter.
Thanks
Ginger
Please welcome a new member, Sherry, that descends from Merry Franklin
Christmas, a grandson of Caleb Christmas & Temperance Prescott; these are
descendants of the SC Jonathan.
Welcome Glenda,
I too am researching the Hawkins line at this time. Perhaps we can exchange
information.

little I have. We are trying to find the mother of our ggggggrandfather,
Joseph Warren Hawkins born 1801 N.C. died 5-1873 Desoto co.,Mississippi. Any
