The Christman Family: Hanß and Diebold Christmann of Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, France, and some of their descendants 1607-2014, copyright 2014, is finished.
If interested you may contact me at rictobin(a)cox.net for more information.
The 6"x9" softcover book is 234 pages. This Christman family emigrated from Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, Bas-Rhin, France, in 1841. This book traces this Christmann family in Oberhoffen from the 17th century through its third generation in the United States.
There are plenty of pictures, 870 endnotes in 40 pages, providing a source for each fact in the book, a bibliography, and a 23 page index. I have provided information on Oberhoffen, Le Havre, the port the Christmans sailed from on their journey to the United States, and Indiana, where they first lived in the United States. I have also provided appendices with information about the Lorentz family of Gries, France, and the Richert Family of Adelshofen, Baden, both families that this Christman family intermarried with in France.
