I am seeking information on a Henry Christie, his siblings, & his Family.
>
Henry was born in Virginia in abt 1806. He married Ellen Sinclair on
September 9th, 1833 in Fauquier County, Virginia.
>
They were in Indiana at least by 1840, if not sooner. I can not find him
in the 1850 census. I have found him in the 1860 & 1870 Robb Township,
Posey County, Indiana, Census. His wife Ellen is on the 1880, in Gibson
County; I assume that Henry died between 1870 and 1880, and she went
to live with her son in Gibson.
>
Does anyone have births, deaths and marriages for Posey County?
>
Does any one have access to an index for the 1850 Indiana Census
that would email the Christie/Christy page to me?
>
This is a new line of research for me. I just found out that Henry is my
GGGG/Grand-Mother's brother.
>
I am researching the Charles Christie-Nancy Smith line of Virginia.
>
Your help is appreciated; And I am more than willing to reciprocate
If I can. Thanks for reading, Tom Kendall

I'm looking for information on George Christie who came to Ira Township, St. Clair, Michigan, around 1850 from Switzerland, possibly with Ignatius Petitprin, who was from Vendlincourt, Switzerland.
