I've "rescued" an old photograph of Albert OLSON taken at the S. H. Neperud
Studio in Blair, WI. It appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early
1900's with Albert likely in his teens or early 20's at the time. Based on
limited research I have gathered the following details regarding Albert and
his family:
Albert Henry OLSON was b. 9 Feb 1875 in Blair, WI to parents Martin OLSON
(1851-1903) and Johanna CHRISTIANSON (1855-1924). Albert was one of 3
children born to this couple including, Albert Henry; Elmer OLSON
(1877-1934); and Evelyn or Evelyna OLSON (1880-1946). Albert married Anna
Louise BERG (1886-1965) and together they had 10 children including, Myrtle
Albertina (1904 or 1905-1980); Pearl J. or Irene (1906 or 1907-1989);
Bernice H. (b. 1910); Orval Morton Thomas (1912-1987); Albert Eugene or
Eugene Albert (1917-2001); Vernon H. (1817-1998); Robert (1919-1001); and
Dorothy OLSON (1925-1981).
Albert died 7 Sept 1953 in Yakima, WA.
Census records provide the following details:
1880 census of Blair, WI:
Martin OLSON, age 29, a Carpenter, born Norway, parents born Norway
Johanna OLSON, wife, age 25, Keeping House, born Sweden, parents born Sweden
Albert OLSON, son, age 5, born WI
Elmer OLSON, son, age 3, born WI
I'm hoping to be able to return the photograph to family and would
appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family, or you know
someone who might be.
Thanks,
Shelley
