Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Ken Christianson, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 21, 2003 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Kari Buresh and husband Brady of Cedar Rapids, IA; son, Kyle Christianson and fiance Kathy Ricklefs of Omaha, NE; granddaughters, Aren Mikayla and Maci Elaine Buresh both of Cedar Rapids, IA; brothers, T. LeRoy Christianson and wife Jean of Chandler, AZ and H. Dennis Christianson and wife Lillian of Florence, OR; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Clara Christianson; his sister, Kay T.; a nephew,"little" Dennis; and a niece, Melissa. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War from 1967-1971. Ken had served as a volunteer fireman in Williston, ND for 12 years. He was a past Director of the Williston Chamber of Commerce, past Director and President of the North Dakota Retail Lumberman's Association, and a past Director for the Mino!
t Builders Supply Association. He attended Faith Lutheran Church. Ken had a great love for the US National Parks. He had collected over 70 hat pins from many of the parks and monuments that he and Doris had visited. Ken was proud of and greatly enjoyed attending and supporting his son Kyle's sporting events, especially his football career. He loved life, his family, and especially his granddaughters who lovingly referred to him as Papa. Ken was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Memorial Services will be held, Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain NE, with Pastor W. Bruce Wilder, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Memorial contributions may be to the National Park Foundation, 11 Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC 20036.
