Thank you for the reply and sorry it took so long.
The family that I am looking for is, Marie Christianson. The last information that I have is SSDI, which says her last "benefit" was in Suring, Oconoto Co., WI. Her parents were Mons Christianson b. 1856 in Norway and immigrated in 1882. Her mother was Sena Larson b. 1869 in Noway and immigrated in 1892. They were married 7/3/1892.
I am particulary intrested in Norway and Immigration Records.

Hi Lori,
This sounds like we are on the trail of the same family. I haven't heard any stories about Rudolph being fathered by another but could easily have happened. Could you send me the family information that you have acquired? I am assuming that some of the children you have listed died in infancy or childhood as they are names that I have never heard. I really happy to find someone else with more information. Herbert (Chris), Henry's only child is my father-in-law and he has sketchy information on the Norweigian family.
Hope to hear more from you soon.
Stacey

Hi Stacey,
I am working ont he Christianson family history for Glen Christianson. He is a Grandson of Rudolph. Glen's sisterin law has traced the Christainson family back into Norway. She traveled there.
But Glen has been told by older members of his family that Hans was not really Rudolph's father ,instead it was a man named Reubin Lang. The story is that Reubin was a traveling salesman and that he and Sigrid had an affair. The baby was claimed and raised by Hans. So Glen is trying to find out if the story is true.
The children I have lsted for Hans and Sigrid are:
Rudolph Simon,Henry,Nels,Louis,Julius,Marcus,Hilda,Oscar,Olaf,Clara and Loosie.

Lori,
Thank you for your response. This is the basic information I have about Hans and Sigrid Christianson: they had seven children:
Rudolph, Oscar, Henry, Julius, Louis, Hilda & Ellen. Rudolph married a woman named Otheilla (sp) and they had one son named James, as far as we know James had two sons. Does this sound familar? I am anxious to know if we are related! Hope to hear back from you soon.
