Coeur d'Alene press newspaper on May 9th 2013 in CDA, Idaho.
Jack of Coeur d'Alene passed away May 2 2013, in Seattle Washington. His memories are passed on by his wife Cheryl; 3 daughters Ruth, Mary and Amy; his son Sean, his 2 grandchildren Nikelle and Brody; his sisters Judy and Janet and his brother Paul.
Jack truly loved and was deeply devoted to his family and was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. His presence in this world will be greatly missed. Jack proudly served his country in both the Army and the Navy. His favorite pastimes included golf, trips to the casino and staying abreast of both local and world affairs for which he was always ready to debate a point of view. While Jack;s beliefs were always strong minded his view of the world was that of a fisherman: If you wanted to catch your fill on intellect and wit, than all you had to do was "bite me."
A celebration of Jack's fife for family and friends will be held from 1 to 3pm Saturday May 11 at Sargeants Restaurant at 9021 north Government Way in Hayden, Idaho.Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the CDA public library.

Hi
As a result of an inquiry by Dagfinn Bergesen I stumbled across this inquiry.
My wife is a granddaughter of Sophie and Arthur Christiansen, daughter of Robert and Nora (Nason) Christiansen. Arthur and Sophie divorced in 1935. He remarried and moved to Portland, Oregon and died there in 1961. Sophie suffered mental problems and died at Elgin State Hospital in Elgin, Illinois in 1968.
Robert and Nora separated in 1941. My wife was then adopted by Burton and Gladys Larson of Sandwich, Illinois.
Robert died in 1979. Raymond and Theresa were living in Nevada the last we knew.
My wife had no contact with her birth family after her adoption. However through research have compiled a significant amount of information about the family.
