A photo including Doreen (or Dorreen) Christiansen was posted to FamilyPhotoFinder.com. I'm unsure of which girl she is in the photo. The photo was taken 9/22/46 for Achievement Day Sunny Slope 4-H Clubs. She had completed 1st year cooking. I have reason to believe this would have been in Iowa or Nebraska, but am not completely sure.
FamilyPhotoFinder.com works to bring these lost and even unknown photo memories to the families. Does anyone have information on Doreen or her family to assist in this endeavor? Thank you.

George, Edna and family are in Des Moines for the 1910, 1920 & 1930 census'. Edna's family had been in Des Moines since the 1895 state census but in Davenport for the 1870 & 1880 census.
George has been consistant in the fact that his father was born in Denmark & his mother in Germany. You just don't find that combo on the census to much. When I do find it there's no George.

I think I have atleast located George's father. A relative (one of George's grandsons wife) found a Danish Brotherhood cert. for Ole Christiansen b 13 July 1845 Saeby, Denmark. George states he was born in Iowa but I am not sure where else Ole lived before settling in Iowa.

I am searching for George W. Christiansen. He was known both as William Christiansen & George Christiansen depending I guess who you speak to. The 1910,1920 & 1930 census' in Iowa has him as George first. He was born ~1884 in Iowa. He states his father was born in Denmark and his mother born in Germany. I can't locate a George before 1910 with his parents from the listed countries, they are either both from Denmark or both from Germany. George married Edna De Foi. Any info would be great on who his parents were.

I am looking for info about Mary Christianson born ca 1895 in NY. The census records indicate her father was born in Germany and her mother in Northern Ireland. Mary married John Kelly ca 1915 and they lived in Brooklyn. Would like info about her parents and siblings.
