My husbands grandfather was William Everett Christiansen born 19 Jul 1912 died 11 Feb 2000 in Iowa. It is our understanding he has a twin brother. There was a falling out between the brothers and my understanding is that they never spoke to one another again. Speaking with my husbands cousin she said it's her belief the twin has a family and more cousins are out there. The grandmother is still alive but has alzheimers. Any help would be great.

I am looking for any other Christiansen's connected to Christian & Anna Christiansen who came from Denmark about 1867 and settled in Clay Co., South Dakota. Their children were: Anna, Christine, Rasmus, Martha, Hansine and Christian. Anne, Christine and Martha settled in Nebraska. Rasmus and Christian in South Dakota and Hansine (Sena) in Iowa. I have been working off a family tree that someone started in the late 1940's or early 1950's. I have yet to hook up with any other Christiansen researchers and would love to share what I have found.
I look forward to hearing from someone.

Hi-
I'm looking for a Carrie Christiansen who married Lewis Mann. She was born in 1863 in Norway and them came over to the U.S. - date unknown.
One of the few things we know about her is that she was at one point before she left Norway a hand maiden to the queen of Norway/Sweden. After she came to the U.S. she went on to get a college degree in engineering and became an architect.
If you have any info please post here or email me. If I receive any info via email I will post it onto the site so that others can use the info.
Thanks,
Rick
